easyJet flying high despite snow and ice
The low-cost airline easyJet said passenger numbers increased by 7.6 per cent last month, despite disruption caused by the snow and ice.
The number of seats flown, regardless of whether passengers turned up, increased to 3.6 million, while its load factor – which measures the number of seats filled on a plane – rose by 0.4 percentage points from last year to 85.8 per cent.
