Events to focus on vocational training

The National Apprenticeship Service will host sessions and conferences for businesses and prospective young workers throughout Britain starting tomorrow as part of Apprenticeship Week.

Liz Field, the chief executive of the Financial Services Skills Council, said "Vocation-based training such as higher-level apprenticeships, can raise the prospects of young people considerably, and ultimately help the UK back on the road to recovery."
