Google is reportedly eyeing a bid of $1bn (£725m) or more for Israeli mobile satellite navigation start-up Waze, just as the internet giant faces a fresh probe into its dominance in America.
A bidding war for Waze is now in prospect as Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg has already been in talks with the Israeli firm. According to news agency Bloomberg, no would-be bidders are close to a deal.
