Growth will return by year end, says Bank
The Economy will require "some time" to come out of recession.
The deputy governor of the Bank of England, Charlie Bean, said yesterday: "It will take some time for the economy to recover, but I believe that we will possibly start to see some growth by the end of the year." His remarks are in line with forecasts in the Bank's last Inflation Report and the Chancellor's Budget. Mr Bean added: "The main idea is to get cash flowing again and get banks lending money again."
