Interest rates are likely to be cut again despite Britain's retail sales growing 0.7 percent last month, City experts have predicted.

Interest rates are likely to be cut again despite Britain's retail sales growing 0.7 percent last month, City experts have predicted.

The rise was due largely to shoippers taking advantage of the traditional January sales.

Sales were also 3.3 percent higher than the same month the previous year.

City analysts predict interest rates - cut 0.25 percent last week - will again come down.
