HMV tunes into loan rescue deal
HMV, the troubled entertainment retailer, is close to agreeing a refinancing deal that will safeguard its immediate future. Following the group's sale of its book chain, Waterstones, for £53m to Alexander Mamut, HMV is thrashing out a two-year loan deal for about £210m with its lenders.
