Sunday 13 November 2011
An Independent on Sunday business article has won an award for Best Business/Trade Feature from the British Guild of Travel Writers.
The judges for the award, which was sponsored by Skywork Airline, said that the freelance writer Mary Novakovich's interview with the G Adventures founder, Bruce Poon Tip, was a "sharply written and entertaining business feature.
"It gave revealing insights into his personal brand of responsible travel."
The piece was published last December.
The British Guild of Travel Writers, which was established in 1960, is the premier professional association for UK journalists, and photographers.
