Christmas television adverts from some of the UK's big retailers are in full swing, with Sainsbury's the latest to launch. Its offering, Jamie Oliver's final after 11 years, will be shown tonight during The X-Factor.
The ad, which has a panto theme, follows John Lewis's which was screened during yesterday's X-Factor.
To further boost Christmas spending, Sainsbury's is enticing customers with 10p off a litre of fuel when they spend £60 or more in a single transaction from tommorow until 20 November.
Marks & Spencer's festive campaign features the 16 X-Factor finalists, who will disappear from the ad as they are voted off, or otherwise leave, the show.
