Quercus, the publisher that brought Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy to the UK, has secured a deal to sell its books on Apple's electronic book store. Following yesterday's announcement, Quercus titles will be available in ebook form in the iBookstore in UK, France and Germany.

Mark Smith, chief executive of the publisher, said the deal "will lead to great things and a significant increase in sales".

In April, the group revealed that full-year revenues in 2010 hit £31.8m up from £19.1m a year earlier largely driven by the success of the novels featuring Lisbeth Salander, the girl with the dragon tattoo.

Quercus unveiled a maiden dividend of 5p and a special dividend of 7p at its results.
