Next boss Wolfson bags £1m bonus
Lord Wolfson of Aspley Guise, chief executive of Next, pocketed a million-pound bonus for delivering record profits of £551m last year.
Some £345,000 of the £1.03m payout is in the form of shares, deferred for two years. His total package, including a salary of £689,000, came in at £1.76m for the year to 29 January, £20,000 ahead of his compensation the year before.
Christos Angelides, Next's product director, was the second highest paid with £1.03m, including a bonus of £500,000.
