It's not yet clear if there will be a broom cupboard in every room, but Nobu, the Michelin-starred restaurant where Boris Becker famously sired a daughter during a "five-minute thing" with a model, is opening a hotel.
According to real estate magazine Property Week it has chosen the trendy Shoreditch area of London in a tie-up with boutique hotels developer Meir Abutbul for a 143-room hotel. Nobu's first hotel is expected to open soon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Nobu's Japanese cuisine has made it a draw for A-list celebrities.
