Rolls-Royce revs up for strong growth

Rolls-Royce said it had performed well in the third-quarter and expects to deliver strong growth in full-year profit, shrugging off turmoil in financial markets.

Rolls, the world's second-largest maker of aircraft engines behind General Electric of the US, said it had continued to make progress since the half year, helped by a continued flow of orders across its businesses.
