Sainsbury's director joins Ombudsman Service

Sainsbury's customer service and colleague director, Gwyn Burr, is to join the Financial Ombudsman Service as a non-executive.

The appointment has been made by the Finan- cial Services Authority and will take effect from 19 October. Currently on Sainsbury's operational board, Mrs Burr has worked at Nestlé Rowntree, Walmart, and founded her own marketing consultancy. She is also chair of Business in the Community's use-related marketing leadership team.
