Target, which is opening its stores early at 6pm on Thanksgiving Thursday, will focus on the tech and children's toys market as it seeks to cash in on the Black Friday shopping phenomenon.
The retailer's deals will be available online on Thanksgiving Thursday morning and will include Beats headphones for $97, a Nikon high-zoom digital camera for $99 and Xbox One for $329.99 with a free $50 gift card.
Target said its other top deals include the new iPad Air 2 16GB for $499.00 with a free $140 Target gift card, the Element 40” 1080p LED high definition TV for $119.00, and Sony PlayStation 4 at $399.00 bundled with two free games.
Target also has 40 per cent off certain LEGO sets and has the Dyson DC50 Allergy Vacuum at $279.
Finally, from 6 am until 12 noon on Black Friday, shoppers can buy up to $300 in Target gift cards with 10 percent off at Target stores and Target.com.
Black Friday is big business in the US. Last year, shoppers spent $57.4 billion over the course of the weekend, according to the National Retail Federation. On average, consumers spent $403, down 4% on the previous year.Reuse content
