Threat to Jaeger jobs
Up to 25 head office jobs are under threat at Jaeger, the premium fashion brand, as part of a review of the business being led by Carolyn Springett, its new managing director.
The retailer has started a consultation period with staff, as it seeks to outsource more of its design and development to help deliver efficiencies and cost savings.
Ms Springett, Jaeger's former brand and supply chain director, took over in January from chief executive Belinda Earl who has stepped down on health grounds.
A spokesman said: "Jaeger is undertaking a comprehensive review of its operations both in the UK and internationally."
