Top firms hire younger bosses to stay in touch
Bosses of the UK's top FTSE-100 companies are getting younger according to a new study to be published this week by Egon Zehnder International.
It shows that more than 40 per cent of chief executives are in their thirties or forties, 56 per cent in their fifities and only 3 per cent are in their sixties or older. Egon's Jill Ader says companies are hiring younger chiefs because they are more in touch.
