US investment bank Moelis & Co to quadruple London operation to 50

Moelis & Co, a US boutique investment bank, is looking to quadruple the size of its London operation to 50 by the end of 2010.

Founded last year by the former UBS investment banking president, Ken Moelis, the company is trying to crack the European market with a number of high-profile appointments.

Mark Aedy, formerly at Merrill Lynch, was hired in April to head up the London office.
