Owners Abroad, the troubled tour operator, is understood to be trying to court Michael Julien, former chief executive of Storehouse, as a replacement for Howard Klein, who resigned as chairman last month. Mr Klein's resignation followed an unexpected profits warning, which came just four months after shareholders rejected a takeover bid from Airtours.
