THE Washington Post Company, publisher of the Washington Post, has added to its growing UK cable TV interests. Through its UK cable TV company, Post-Newsweek UK Cable, it has acquired franchises for the Cumbernauld, Dumbarton and Falkirk/Livingston areas of Scotland. The franchises bring to 425,000 the number of homes in areas covered by PNC-UK.
