Regent Corp goes into administration

The board of Regent Corp is placing the company into administration because of actions by creditors. The directors said they would continue to look for an appropriate transaction to secure the future of the group. After consultation with the Stock Exchange and its advisers, the company has requested the cancellation of its listings of ordinary shares and 4.2 per cent cumulative preference shares with effect from Monday.
