Naomi Campbell decided to show for Dolce e Gabbana's 10th-anniversary show yesterday, as did Woody Allen, in town with his girlfriend Soon-Yi, who will no doubt be returning to Manhattan with a revamped wardrobe. Allen is in Milan with his band, but appeared at Emporio Armani's show on Tuesday as well as having lunch with Gianni Versace who shows today.

Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana have been having a busy week. They showed their D&G "defusion" line on Saturday, followed by a party at a glitzy Milanese club on Sunday night. After their show yesterday, they hosted another party to launch their book 10 Years of Dolce e Gabbana.

For their autumn/winter collection, they revisited one of their favourite themes - underwear as outerwear. Salmon pink pantygirdles were worn over tights and under whale-bone contoured semi sheer skirts. Bras in the same soft pink were worn with dresses that were cut so low the bras were visible.

The pair shunned the black and chocolate brown tailoring popular in Milan, opting forchintzes, 1950s curtain prints and lots of zebra, leopard and tiger. However, much of the collection was reworkings of second-hand clothes.
