Sunday 15 June 2008
On 1 June the Independent on Sunday published an article (in the Business section) mistakenly suggesting that Lord Coe, Chairman of London 2012, was in talks with the National Grid over a deal to make the London 2012 Games carbon neutral. We are happy to clarify that London 2012 has no plans to make the Games carbon neutral and works with EDF Energy on sustainable energy supplies.
