A teenager was convicted yesterday of stabbing the husband of the Director of Public Prosecutions in a mugging by a gang of six youths.

Bernard Enerio, 17, had admitted possessing the knife used for the attack on John Mills, husband of Barbara Mills, near Regent's Park, central London, in May, and was found guilty of unlawful wounding and robbery. He was the only one of the gang charged.
