AN INQUIRY into Geoffrey Robinson's business interests remained deadlocked last night after MPs met to discuss possible action against the Paymaster General.

Robert Sheldon, chairman of the Commons committee charged with judging alleged breaches of the parliamentary rules, said no report was expected yet on allegations against the minister. The committee would not meet again for another fortnight, he said.
