The Hearts manager, Jim Jefferies, is the Bell's Manager of the Month for November. Ayr United's Gordon Dalziel took the First Division award. In the Second Division Clydebank manager Ian McCall took the honours and another former Rangers man, Neale Cooper, was the Third Division's choice at Ross County.
Johan Cruyff was released from hospital yesterday, 10 days after being admitted suffering chest pains. Cruyff, 50, who underwent by-pass surgery in 1991 after a heart attack, was diagnosed as having angina, but surgery will not be necessary.
Edgar Davids, the Dutch international midfielder, has moved from Milan to Juventus on a five-year contract.
