Vice-Chancellor Sir John Daniel was one of the first proud owners of a customised OU number plate.

The plates include both the OU shield, and the words Open University Alumni Association along the bottom and will make an excellent and inexpensive fun Christmas present for an OU graduate or student. If you don't want to attach them to your car, they make attractive adornments for your study wall.

Nor does the plate need to contain your car number. Some have their OU Personal Identifier Number printed on it, or anything up to seven digits.

They cost only pounds 10 plus Vat (pounds 11.75) and are available by post from the OU Alumni Association, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes MK7 6AA. The OU Foundation receives a donation from every plate sold.

Please print your registration number clearly, (preferaby, type it) and allow up to 21 days for delivery.
