Open Eye: What's the Big Idea?

Have you ever wondered what the 'nature/nurture' debate was all about? Felt you really ought to know what 'post-modernism' was, but didn't know where to start or who to ask?

Look no further. Starting in May the OU will be broadcasting a new series every Saturday morning looking at the big ideas that lie behind some of the main disciplines of University and intellectual life. We want to get you involved. If you would like our team to look into a big idea in any area from physics to philosophy, maths to music then drop us a line (you might even end up on the programme!).
