Public Services Management Update: Queens Moat fears

The financial crisis and share suspension of Queens Moat Leisure is causing anxiety at some local authorities. The Queens Moat subsidiary Civic Leisure is one of the leading municipal sports facilities contractors. Directors at Civic Leisure were this week referring inquiries on to Queens Moat, where no one was available to comment. Initially seen as one of the most lucrative areas for contracting out, leisure has instead been the most problematic.
