Report warns of US-style 'degree mills'
Government plans for an expansion in private universities could lead to a growth in "degree mills", according to a report, by the Higher Education Policy Institute, out today.
The report warns that more private higher education providers could offer qualifications simply on payment of cash and that "degree mills" could mushroom in the UK, as in the US.
