Emergency care gets better
Plans to improve emergency care were unveiled by Stephen Dorrell, Secretary of State for Health.
The planned improvements are the result of a review by a panel lead by Dr Kenneth Calman, the Chief Medical Officer. They include encouraging people to take greater responsibility through training and increasing awareness to deal with emergencies; improving public understanding of how to deal with emergencies; and where to seek professional help.
