Gum ceases to be a sticky issue
A NON-STICKY chewing gum that will not cling to the sole of your shoe is being developed by the Wrigley company. It will be a mix of silicone and polyvinyl acetate, which has an affinity for water. A filler such as calcium carbonate is added, with sugar or an artificial sweetener.
