Judge releases confession tape
A DETAILED confession to murder was released by a Crown Court judge last night only hours after the man accused of the crime had been acquitted.
Keith Hall, from Pudsey, near Leeds, cleared of the murder of his wife, Patricia, is heard confessing to killing her on a tape recording made by an undercover policewoman who had pretended to fall in love with him.
The judge, Mr Justice Waterhouse, had ruled the tape to be inadmissible as evidence and the jury had not heard it.
