The saga of "Balloon boy" continues to capture people's attention. People are heading to Google to search for information regarding the term, keeping it in the top position of Google's Insights trends on the morning of October 21.

If you searched for "Balloon Boy" on October 15 you may have been taken to news coverage that suggested a young boy named Falcon Heene was flying through the air in his parents' homemade helium balloon while authorities desperately tried to rescue the stranded child.

This week, however, people searching for "Balloon Boy" will find articles and blog posts about how the Heene family conceived and played out a hoax -- an event that captured the world's attention and played media outlets for fools.

People looking for the term "balloon boy" on the internet this week may also stumble upon websites that offer Balloon Boy Halloween costumes.

The costumes consist of a silver helium balloon and a cardboard box. It also comes complete with instructions that suggest the person remembers the line, "I'm supposed to be flying in there, but my dad said to stay in the box for the show!"

Searches for the Diwali festival skyrocketed in Indonesia on October 16 and 17 and continue to trend on October 21 as people look for information about the annual Diwali festival of light that took place in India and Nepal last week and weekend.
