Current Google Insights trends: French Super Nanny dies, most desirable woman of 2010

The death of France's reality TV star, Cathy Sarraï, aka "Super Nanny," has shocked fans and led to an overwhelming number of searches for the term "Super Nanny" during the week of January 25.

Sarraï was famous for her lead role in the French reality TV show Super Nanny, where she took a leading role in the transformation of problem kids into self-respecting, well behaved children.

The 47-year-old lost her battle with lung cancer during the night of January 19.

Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui takes the second position on the Google Insights list on January 25 at 9:30 AM GMT. A surge of searches have been made after the young starlet won the title of "most desirable woman of 2010" in AskMen.com's top 99 women.

The Australian Open Tennis Championships 2010 is trending in Google Insights on January 25. The famous tournament is taking place in Melbourne, Australia from January 18 to 31.

The search terms with the most significant growth worldwide in the last seven days as measured by Google Insights, recorded on January 25 at 9:30 AM GMT are:

1. super nanny (Breakout)
2. emmanuelle chriqui (+1,800%)
3. australian open (+400%)
4. hava durumu (+70%) (Turkish for weather)
5. fox news (+40%)

*Breakout defines a search term that has experienced a change in growth greater than 5000 percent.
