People in China have been searching for information related to the Chinese term "keeping and feeding Yin Tao" during the week, propelling the phrase into the top spot of the Google Insights list on the morning of October 26.

According to the Chinese newspaper, Shanghai Daily, Chinese actress Yin Tao was being "fed and kept" by a former deputy police chief of Chongqing Municipality in China for three years.

The former deputy police chief, named only as "Wen" in the Shanghai Daily article, is under investigation for his Chinese gang ties, "illegal dealings" and his reported "womanizing" behavior.

Yin Tao denied the allegations, claiming that Wen had never been her "sugar daddy."

People in Germany have been looking for the name of the catalogue shopping website, Quelle. Quelle is one of the biggest mail-order stores in Germany and has been in business for over 80 years, selling products from home wares to clothing to electronics goods and perfumes.

On Monday, October 19 Quelle announced they would be forced to liquidate the company after their attempts to find new investors had failed. Up to 10,500 workers are waiting to hear about the future of their jobs at the company.

The search terms with the most significant growth worldwide within the last seven days as measured by Google Insights, recorded on October 26 at 8:30 AM GMT are:

2. quelle.de (+450%) (German internet shopping platform)
3. quelle (+170%)
4. windows 7 (+120%)
5. bnp (+70%)
6. ?? (+60%) ("no" in Chinese)

*Breakout defines a search term that has experienced a change in growth greater than 5000 percent.
