Current Google Insights trends: Pulpo Paul, Miami Heat, Frida Kahlo

Germany's now-famous psychic octopus, Pulpo Paul, gains the title of Google Insights' top trending topic on the morning of July 13.

Pulpo Paul successfully predicted the outcome of six out of six of Germany's World Cup games and the final match.

American basketball team Miami Heat is in second place after American basketball player LeBron James announced he would join former Team USA teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Florida-based NBA team on July 8. "LeBron James" is in fifth place on the charts.

Mexican painter Frida Kahlo was honored with a Google Doodle on July 6 (if she was still alive today she would have celebrated her 103rd birthday on the date), resulting in an increase of searches for her name on the search engine.

People in Turkey have been tapping "SBS Sonuçlar?" ("SBS results") into their search bar hoping to find the results of Turkey's placement test for high schools; "e okul" (e-learning in Turkish) and "meb" (short for "Ministry of Education" in Turkish) are also trending in eighth and ninth places respectively.

People have been searching for the name of American actress Lindsay Lohan, curious to find out if she will have to spend time in jail after she violated the terms of her probation.

"Eliza Samudio" is trending in seventh place. Searches for the former girlfriend of Brazilian football goalkeeper, Bruno Fernandes Das Dores de Souza, have skyrocketed after she was reportedly murdered and her remains were "fed to dogs."

British news TV channel "Sky News" is on the charts in tenth place.
