Current Google Insights trends: Sammy Sosa, Robert Enke, Gretchen Rossi

A skin bleaching scandal has driven the name of retired Major League Baseball right fielder Sammy Sosa into the top of Google Insights list on November 13.

Reporters have compared the baseball star's skin transformation to that of Michael Jackson after pictures appeared featuring Sosa with a "dramatically lighter skin tone."

Reports have surfaced that the retired baseballer has been using a special cream every night before going to bed that may be responsible for the appearance of his lighter skin tone during recent years.

Sports news has been dominating the rising search trends on Google Insight during the past days with the name of German footballer, Robert Enke also making it into the top of the list in the wake of his November 10 death.

During his international career, Enke defended goal for Barcelona, Benfica, Fenerbahçe and Hannover 96.

Real Housewives of Orange County actress Gretchen Rossi's name has appeared in news headlines during the past week after she revealed she previously suffered from bulimia.
