The names of songs, films and games are spreading around the twittersphere on the morning of May 11 as people on Twitter use the "nowplaying" hashtag to talk about what they are listening to, watching or playing.

The term "#nowplaying" remains the most popular trending topic Tuesday morning. The shortened version of "nowplaying," "#np" remains unchanged too, at number eight.

"Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself," "Twitter beats Facebook," "I divorced my past and I'm engaged to my future," and "True friends are hard to come by," say microbloggers sharing their definition of "the bottom line." The hashtag "bottomlineis" is trending in second place.

Microbloggers are using their 140 characters to pass on their support for their favorite candidate in the Philippines' general elections, Gilberto "Gibo" Teodoro Jr.

The name of Korean pop group Super Junior's fourth studio album and lead single, "Bonamana" has moved down the charts two places to number four.

In fifth place is "#1thingaboutme," as microbloggers share their personal quirks.

The name of Canadian singer Justin Bieber drops two places to number six.

New in the chart is "#stopit" at number seven as people write tweets asking others to stop doing something they don't like.

The Filipino word for election, "halalan" has dropped to ninth place while "Labour" is back on the trending topics list at number ten.
