It's Friday May 7 in the twittersphere and everyone is sending out their Follow Friday recommendations.

The shortened version of Follow Friday, "#FF" has taken the top spot from the music recommendation term "#nowplaying" which is now in second place. "#Follow Friday" is also one of Twitter's most talked about topics, currently sitting in sixth place.

Twitter users are sharing some of the things that make them angry. "Text me a one-word response after I send you a long heart-felt text msg", "Call my phone, ask if I'm sleep, I say yes and you keep talking anyway" and "disturb me when I'm sleeping" are all ways to make a Twitter user mad according to the tweets being spread this morning containing the "howtomakememad" hashtag.

UK's General Election continues to be a topic of discussion on the microblogs this morning. "#ge2010 has shifted down the list one place, "Labour" remains unchanged, "Tory" has dropped two places and "Tories" is new on the charts at number eight.

"Iron Man 2" opened in theaters on May 7 and Twitter users are taking to their accounts to talk about the sequel. "Iron Man 2" is trending in fifth place.
