Current Twitter trends: 'I wonder if she knows,' 'peliculas twitteras', 'Peterporn'

"#iwonderifsheknows" has become the most talked about topic on Twitter on the morning of June 9. People on Twitter are perplexed about the things women might know and are voicing their questions out loud.

I wonder if she knows: "that she's the last thing I think about before I go to bed, and the first thing I think about when I wake up", "how happy she makes me every time she's smiling" and "I leave the toilet seat up on purpose just to piss her off" muse people on Twitter.

The "idonotsupport" hashtag is in second place on the social networking site this morning. The Spanish term for "Twitter Movies", "peliculastwitteras", follows in third place as users "Twitterize" the titles of popular films.

Indonesian pop rock band Peterpan is in Twitter's trending topics after two "sex tapes" featuring the band's front-man were leaked on the internet. Twitter users coined the term "Peterporn", which is now trending in fourth place.

The name of recently elected Vice President-elect of the Philippines, Jejomar "Binay" is fifth in the charts whilst the name of the President-elect of the Philippines, "Noynoy" Aquino ranks in tenth place. "Proclamation" is eighth on Twitter's list of trending topics as microbloggers discuss the proclamation of both Jejomar Binay and Noynoy Aquino.

"Pretty Little Liars" - a new series that has been dubbed "Desperate Housewives for teens" - is trending in sixth place, "Stemmen" (Dutch for "to vote") is in seventh and Major League Baseball pitcher Stephen "Strasburg" is in ninth place.
