2PM fans continue to talk about the Korean singer on Twitter, hoping that he will return to the band one day.
The 82nd annual Academy Awards (more popularly known as the Oscars) took place on March 7 at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, USA.
The twittersphere is ablaze with tweets about the awards ceremony. Twitter users are talking about the best and worst dressed, who should (and shouldn't) have won an Oscar, Steve Job's appearance at the awards ceremony and Apple's decision to air its first iPad advertisement during TV coverage of the event.
"Who needs to watch the Oscars when you can look at your twitter feed the next day and learn everything there is to know?" asked one user.
The names of Oscar-winning actors, actresses and films ranked highly in Twitter's trending topics on March 8. Best Picture winner, The Hurt Locker, is trending at number five while The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow - the first female to ever win an Oscar for directing - ranks at number six.
Sandra Bullock won the award for best actress in a leading role for her work in The Blind Side and is trending at number nine.
Sci-fi adventure film Avatar picked up Oscar awards for Cinematography and "Visual Effects" but many Twitter users were upset it didn't win the Oscar for Best Picture.
"It's not a fair ceremony," complained someone on Twitter, "It's all Oscar politics. It happened to Stars Wars and E.T. Oscars don't like Sci-fi!!"
