And the prize for sorest loser goes to... Huey Morgan
Muhammad Ali once said "No one knows what to say in the loser's locker room," but Huey Morgan, BBC 6 Music host and former Fun Lovin' Criminals frontman, had plenty to say when he lost out in the Music Radio Personality of the Year category at the Sony Awards.
After Radio 2's Chris Evans took home gold, and 6 Music's Lauren Laverne won silver, Morgan tweeted: "Fern [Cotton], Lauren, Chris. Yeah right, that's cool?" he wrote; and returning to Laverne, "You got no idea what I put into my shows. She just shows up and plays in twitter. Ain't that BS."
Has there been a sorer loser since Kanye West stormed the stage at the 2006 MTV Europe Awards claiming his "Touch The Sky" video should have triumphed because it "cost a million dollars" and "Pamela Anderson was in it"? At least he didn't diss a colleague.
