Magistrates in Peterborough heard that Ryan Hudson died from poisoning by anti- depressants in January this year. The child's funeral was cancelled when police repossessed the body the day before the ceremony was due to take place. A post-mortem examination had been carried out but had proved inconclusive. However, police decided to recall the body for toxicology tests.
His parents, Tracey Taylor and Shawn Hudson, who have a two-year-old daughter, had to issue public notices announcing the cancellation of the funeral and burial ceremony.
Miss Taylor, aged 24, of March, Cambridgeshire, who was questioned by detectives in February, was released on bail after being charged yesterday.Reuse content
