3,000 dissidents killed in 'dirty war'

Fresh accusations about the behaviour of the Argentinian army during the "dirty war" of the 1970s have emerged, with a former sergeant claiming he had seen 3,000 political prisoners shot, clubbed to death or thrown into the Atlantic from military planes.
