It was not Stephen Fry who gave Linda Smith her "wittiest person" award, writes Michael Rosen [further to the obituary by Mark Steel, 1 March]. It was me, as it was voted for by listeners to Word of Mouth.

I interrupted an edition of her Timewasting show to give it to her.
