Marvin "Popcorn" Sutton, who died on 16 March aged 62, was an Appalachian moonshiner from North Carolina who in 1999 published Me and My Likker, an autobiography and guide to moonshining.

His fifth conviction came after he was caught with 1,700 gallons of illicit spirits and he was due to begin an 18-month jail sentence, but instead he committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning.
