The Queen visits the Queen's Royal Lancers at Belvoir Castle, Grantham, Lincolnshire, to mark her 50th year as Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment. The Prince of Wales, Patron, Bristol Cancer Help Centre, visits the centre at Grove House, Clifton, Bristol.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; F Company Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
