The rogue Chinese spy satellite FSW-1 plunged harmlessly into the ocean early yesterday, leaving scientists only one question to ponder - which ocean?

Russian trackers announced it had fallen into the north-east Pacific off Alaska, but the US Space Command said it was in the south Atlantic. RAF Strike Command and the European Space Agency both announced that they had lost contact with the satellite and that its final splashdown point was unknown.
