Mr JT Masefield, to be Ambassador (non-resident) to the Republic of Chad, concurrent with his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Mr David Alexander Leahy, to be a full-time Chairman of Industrial Tribunals assigned to the Manchester Region.

Miss Daphne Wickham and Mr Paul Carr, to be members of the Magisterial Committee of the Judicial Studies Board.

Mr Robert Noel Rowley, to be full-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals, Medical Appeal Tribunals, Disability Appeal Tribunals and Child Support Appeal Tribunals sitting in the Midlands Region.

Dr Harcourt Martin Grant Concannon, to be full-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals, Medical Appeal Tribunals, Disability Appeal Tribunals and Child Support Appeal Tribunals sitting in the North West Region.
