Eliza Dushku may have been staying in the same hotel room for two months while she films on location in Pittsburgh, but that made no difference to the hotel managers once One Direction rolled into town.

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress was forced to move out of her room over the weekend in preparation for One Direction’s arrival, who she claimed has booked out the whole floor of the hotel for their stay in the Pennsylvania city.

“Don’t worry One Direction. It was super chill movin outta my hotel room so u can have the ENTIRE FLOOR I’ve been staying on for 2 months, [sic]” the actress wrote on Instagram as she posted a picture of her packed-up belongings.

One Direction is due to play at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field on Sunday night as part of their North America tour, before they return to Europe to play a host of sell-out gigs.

Dushu later showed there were no hard feelings, while also asking for a favour in return for her move: “Ha! I’m laughing, it’s all good @onedirection. Assuming tix or pix for my friends kid..?![sic]” she tweeted.

She also sought to make sure her words weren't construed as complaining about the hotel staff, and said on Twitter: "And for the record, I absolutely love my Pittsburgh hotel and each and every staff member there. Was no fault."
